Asaase Radio 100.3 successfully launches “Central Regional Excellence Awards”
The management of Asaase Broadcasting Company Limited has launched the Central Regional Business Excellence Awards (CRBEA) at a dinner in Cape Coast to reward various businesses flourishing in their areas of work in the region.
The colourful event was attended by businessmen and women, political heads, traditional leaders and many others.
The Central Business Excellence Awards is in fulfilment of a pledge made by Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, the chairman of the board of Asaase Broadcasting Company Ltd during the official opening of Asaase 100.3 Cape Coast to work with businesses in the Central Region to change the narrative about the region.
“Each year, beginning from 2023, the board of the CRBEA will oversee the award of business excellence to companies and entities in 20 different categories. This includes Manufacturing/Retail, Bank/Insurance, Health Care, Herbal Care Services, Tourism, Educational Services, Restaurant/Hotel, Petrochemical Services, 1D1F, Pharmaceuticals, and the Overall Business Personality of the Year,” James Kojo Kutin the station manager of Asaase 100.3 Cape Coast said.
The Central Regional Minister, Justina Marigold Assan commended the management of Asaase Broadcasting Company Ltd for ensuring quality content delivery and helping the Central Regional Coordinating Council to transform the region.
She pledged the support of her outfit to the media company in developing the region.
“This is the time to support Asaase Radio to get it done and we are so grateful to them for putting this together. You can count on the support of the Central Regional Coordinating Council. We are going to partner with you. This I see it as a beautiful marriage beginning today (10 November) and we are going to cement it”, she said.
