Asaase 100.3 FM officially launches in Cape Coast
Asaase Broadcasting Company Limited. ( ABC ) officially adds to the list of their group of media brands across Ghana. From Asaase Radio 99.5 MHz in Accra to Asaase Radio (Kumasi, 98.5 Mhz), Radio 123 (Tamale, 99.7 Mhz), Stone City (Ho, 90.70 Mhz) and finally the newborn Asaase 100.3 FM which was officially commissioned in Cape Coast today.
Speaking at the occasion, the Chairman of the board of directors/ shareholder of the company Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko expressed his gratitude to the Oguaa Omanhene Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, the various high institutions in Cape Coast and the good people of Cape Coast for accepting Asaase 100.3 FM humbly into the ancient capital.
He also hinted that the station is ready to take the region to another level with the new introduction of the “Central Regional Business Excellence Awards” which will be awarding various institutions in the Central Region annually and help them in the quist to give various kinds of opportunity to the youths in the region. He also sighted the need for boosting tourism in Cape Coast since the city is the hub of tourism in Ghana and adds up to the economical growth of Ghana.
The Oguaa Omanhene also added his voice urging the management of the new station to employ the able men and women from Cape Coast to create more jobs for his people. The new frequency will bring a blend of content that will bring positive change, entertain, educate and inspire audiences in the Central Region, especially Cape Coast. The station operates under the tagline “The Voice of Our Land”
