Raised in Boadua-Akwatia in Ghana’s Eastern Region, Ajuma — real name Iddrisu Baba Aliu — has crafted a sound he calls Afrosounds: a fusion of Afrobeats’ infectious rhythms, Highlife’s soulful melodies, and lyrical poetry’s storytelling depth.
