PRESS RELEASE
DFMLP CONGRATULATES PROFESSOR JANE NAANA OPOKU-AGYEMANG
The Democratic Forum of Medical Laboratory Professionals (DFMLP) wishes to congratulate the indefatigable Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang on her appointment as running mate to the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the next president of the Republic of Ghana from January 7, 2025, H. E. John Dramani Mahama.
This refreshing news cannot be allowed to go uncelebrated. As the party that gave Ghana the first ever female Speaker of Parliament it is not surprising that it is on its way to give the country the first ever female Vice President. This feat must be celebrated by all females and women activists in the Country and beyond.
Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang has distinguished herself in her entire public service and stands tall as a woman of substance who brings to the presidency unblemished integrity, experienced and exemplary leadership skills. There is no trace of corruption nor misappropriation that has been associated with her in her long years of public service.
What makes her stand out is that she served as a minister (i.e., Minister for Education) for four years and her sterling performance in the Ministry reinforced her achievements and rectitude character as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) and the first ever female Vice Chancellor of a public university in Ghana.
With these experiences and uprightness and the euphoria that surrounded the announcement of her appointment, it is our hope that Ghanaians would vote massively for the NDC on December 7, 2024 to come and rescue the nation from this reckless, untrustworthy, insensitive, clueless, corrupt and nepotistic government. Finally, we wish to thank the flagbearer of the NDC, H.E. John Dramani Mahama for making this very wise and undisputable choice for a running mate. We are of the firm believe that this singular act is a big jump towards an unprecedented victory in this year’s presidential elections.
Signed:
Dr. Moses Kofi Woli (FWAPCMLS, MLS (ASCPi ))
